Website | Upcoming feed on the homepage - add image

This guide explains how to upload and assign a course contact image to the upcoming feed.

Image requirements

  • Recommended dimensions: 360 x 270 pixels

  • Preset: When uploading to Media, use the preset courses

Important disclaimer

Note: This feature is not added to websites by default. It is dependent on your website template. It is only available where you have a CourseCo website with an applicable template configured to support course contact images.
If you are unsure whether your project supports this, please check with your CourseCo contact or your implementation notes.

Step 1: Upload your course contact image to Media

  1. Log in as Admin.

  2. In the left menu, go to Media.

  3. Click Upload Image (or drag and drop your file).

  4. Select your image file from your computer.

  5. In the Preset dropdown, choose courses.

  6. Click Done / Save to complete the upload.

Outcome:
Your image is now saved in Media with the courses preset and will be available to assign to a course.

Step 2: Assign the contact image to a course

  1. In the left menu, go to Courses.

  2. Open the course you want to add a contact image to (Edit).

  3. Click the Media tab on the course.

  4. In the Contact images section:

    • Open the dropdown / image picker.

    • Select the image you uploaded in Step 1.

  5. Click Save (or Save & Exit) on the course.

Outcome:
The selected image is now assigned to the course Contact images section and will display on the course detail page, if your template supports contact images.

Step 3: Check the contact image on your website

  1. Go to your website homepage

  2. Reload/refresh the page.

If you have render cache or other caching enabled:

  • Open the same course detail page in an Incognito / Private browser window, or

  • Use a different browser to confirm the new image appears.

  • In some cases render cache takes 1h to update, so come back later to review your changes.
