End-user guide: Adding a banner image on the course detail page

Use this guide to configure a course banner image on the course detail page using a predefined banner media preset.

Banner image requirements

Ensure your banner image meets the following requirement before uploading:

• Dimensions: 1920 x 450

Important disclaimer

This is not included by default and can be reviewed if you have a Courseco website or an applicable template to handle this.

Step 1: Upload the banner image to Media

1. Open the Media area in your CourseCo environment.

2. Upload your banner image that matches the required dimensions.

3. When uploading, select the preset value course banners so the image is correctly identified as a banner.

   1. Open the course you want to update

   2. Go to the Media tab within the course.

   3. In the Banner image section, select and assign the uploaded banner image that uses the course banners preset.

   4. 
      

      1. Reload your frontend homepage or the relevant course detail page to see the banner image displayed.

      2. If you have render cache enabled, open an incognito or private browsing window and reload the homepage or course detail page to ensure the latest banner image is displayed.
