Unique Certificate Requirements | Custom Text on Certificates | Generating Certificates
Using CourseCo, you can add custom certificate text either at a course level (static text for all schedules) or at a schedule level (customised per delivery). This text will automatically populate onto certificates when they are generated, provided your certificate template includes the right tags.
When to Use Course vs. Schedule-Level Text
Ask yourself:
Is the custom text consistent for every delivery of the course? → Use Course-Level Custom Text
Does the text vary depending on the training day (e.g. vehicle details, weather, delivery method)? → Use Schedule Note 2
1️⃣ Course-Level Certificate Custom Text
Used when custom text applies to all deliveries of the course.
Steps:
Navigate to Courses
Select the relevant course
Add content in the ‘Certificate Custom Text’ field
(Leave it blank if no custom text is needed)
✅ Outcome:
If custom text is added, it will appear on the generated certificate.
If left blank, nothing will show in that section.
🛠 Important:
Ensure your certificate template contains the tag: @certificatetext@
2️⃣ Schedule-Level Certificate Custom Text (Schedule Note 2)
Used when custom text is specific to a particular training session.
Steps:
Login as Admin
Go to Courses > Schedules
Open the relevant schedule
On the Summary tab, enter details in the ‘Schedule Note 2’ field
📝 Example Entry:
Make: Ford
Model: Focus
Mileage: 150,000KM
Weather: Wet, windy day
Save the schedule
Generate certificates for that schedule
🛠 Important:
Ensure your certificate template contains the tag: @schedulenote2@
