CourseCo Roadmap & Feature Enhancement Process

At CourseCo, our platform evolves continuously in response to the real-world needs of training providers and education communities. We operate an active product roadmap that balances stability with innovation ensuring the platform grows meaningfully without disruption to our clients.


Our Roadmap Planning Approach

We work in quarterly planning cycles, releasing both major and minor updates throughout the year:

  • Minor updates include:

    • Bug fixes

    • Cosmetic or usability enhancements

    • Small configuration improvements based on customer feedback

  • Major updates focus on:

    • New feature rollouts

    • Integrations (e.g. accounting, CRM, third-party APIs)

    • Platform logic changes (e.g. booking flows, timetabling, automation rules)

We publish all updates through our Product Updates section, keeping you informed of improvements, enhancements, and fixes.


Feature Requests & Product Extensions

At CourseCo, our roadmap is renowned for being active and customer-driven. We continually evolve the platform by listening to the needs of our training provider community, while ensuring changes are delivered in a structured and sustainable way.

When clients request a new feature, we follow a defined internal process:

  1. Assess – Determine whether it is a bug, a small improvement, or a new feature.

  2. Classify – If it is a new feature, run it through our product extension process to check if it aligns with our core roadmap and wider customer needs.

  3. Route

    • If aligned, schedule it for a future release.

    • If not aligned, provide a custom quotation so it can be developed specifically for the client.

This approach ensures our roadmap evolves in a deliberate, strategic way.
