Creating a Task
To create a new task and assign them to your students, please follow the steps given below:
Navigate to the website and log in as an Admin.
The Home page will be displayed.
Click your profile picture and select My Account.
The Home Dashboard page will be displayed.
Navigate to Todos > All Todos.
The All Todos page will be displayed.
Click NEW TODO and select Task.
The New task page will be displayed.
Enter the required values for the fields. There are three tabs, Details, Permissions, and Activity.
Enter the Title of the new task in the Task title field. For more information about field/section descriptions refer to the table below:
Enable it if you want your students to upload the file.
Enter the category of the task.
Enter the task summary.
Select the schedules of the task form the list.
Select the assignees for whom the task is assigned. You can add as many assignees as you want.
Select the status of the task. The available options are Open, In progress, Done.
Select the priority of the task. The available options are Normal, Low, High.
Select the due date of the task from the calendar dropdown.
Select the end time of the task from the clock dropdown list.
Display exam results on submission
If you want to display the exam results on the date of submission on it.
All the information in the Details tab will be saved.
Permissions Tab: Select the people who want to share the task and click Save.
Activity Tab: no data.
The Activity Tab will fetch the data as the assignees complete and submit their Tasks
Outcome: A new task will be created and assigned to the students
Update the status of a task
To update the status of an existing task, please follow the steps given below:
Navigate to Todos > My todos.
The My todos page will be displayed.
Click the task for which you want to update the status.
The Edit task page will be displayed.
Select the type of status from the Status dropdown list. The available options are Open, In progress, and Done.
Outcome: The status of the task will be updated.
