Plus Discount

CourseCo provides you with off-the-shelf coupon codes which you can provide to any customer at any point in time. These coupons do not have an expiry date and have a unique structure <company name_per cent off of checkout price>. For example, companyname10. The coupons can have 10% to 50% off of the original price.

Applying Plus Discount on Checkout

If you want to apply the discount on checkout, follow the steps given below:

1. Navigate to the website and log in.

The Home page will be displayed.

2. In the Find Your Course section, search for courses by selecting the location or subject of the course in the respective fields and click Continue.

All the courses matching the search criteria will be displayed.

3. Click More info for the course that you want to book and apply discount while checking out.

The course details will be displayed.

4. Select the session that you want to book from the Select your session dropdown list.

5. Select the number of attendees from the No. of attendees dropdown list.

6. Click Book Now.

YOUR CART page will be displayed.

7. In the Lead booker details section, enter the first name, last name, email address, and mobile number of the lead booker of your organization in the corresponding fields.

8. If the Lead booker is also one of the delegates for the course, check the I will be a delegate on this course option.

9. In the Delegate details section, enter the first name, last name, email address, and mobile number of the delegate in the corresponding fields for as many delegates you have selected.

Your booking details will be displayed on the right side.

Make sure to enter unique email addresses and valid phone numbers for each delegate attending the course.

10. Enter your coupon code in the Coupon field and click APPLY.

Coupon codes are case sensitive.

11. Review the updated amount and click Complete Booking.

Outcomes:

  • The discount will be added to your booking.

  • Your booking will be completed.

Applying Plus Discount on Back-Office for an Individual

To apply a discount on the back office you have to create a back-office booking. To create a back-office booking for an individual, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the website as an Admin.

2. Navigate to the Bookings module.

The Bookings page will be displayed.

3. Click ADD BOOKING.

The Create a new booking page will be displayed.

4. In the Booking Type dropdown list, select the Booking for a single student option.

5. In the Student name field, search and select the student’s contact for which you want to apply the discount. Enter the student’s mobile number/last name/first name and select the student’s name from the suggested contact list.

6. In the Select a schedule section, select the range of schedules that you want to view. The available options are All, Past, and Upcoming.

7. In the Select field, click the required option. The available options are:

  • Single - Select this option if you want to book a single course for the selected student.

  • Multiple - Select this option if you want to book multiple courses for the selected student.

8. Based on your selection in the previous step, perform one of the following:

  • If you have selected the Single option, click the Select button for the course which you want to book.

  • If you have selected the Multiple option, check the boxes for the courses which you want to book.

You will be scrolled down to the Payment details section.

Review the payment information to ensure that you have selected/entered the correct date and cost.

10. Click Booking Discounts.

The Apply Discount dialog will be displayed.

11. Enter the coupon code and click Add Coupon or enter a custom discount and click Apply.

12. Review the updated amount and click Apply Discounts.

The discount will be added and the payment details section will be displayed.

13. Click Book.

Outcomes:

  • The selected course will be booked.

  • A confirmation mail with course details will be sent to the registered email address.

  • The specified discount will be applied to the booking.

Applying Discount on Back-Office for a Group

To apply a discount on the back office you have to create a back-office booking. To create a back-office booking for a group, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the website as an Admin.

2. Navigate to the Bookings module.

The Bookings page will be displayed.

3. Click ADD BOOKING.

The Create a new booking page will be displayed.

4. In the Booking Type dropdown list, select the Organisation booking for multiple delegates option.

5. In the Organisation name field, search and select your organisation.

6. In the Lead Booker field, search and select the lead booker.

Make sure the contact that you are putting as the Lead Booker is linked to your organisation.

7. In the Select Delegate field, search and select the delegate that you want to add to the booking and click Add Delegate. Repeat this step for as many delegates you want to add to the booking.

8. In the Select a schedule section, select the range of schedules that you want to view. The available options are All, Past, and Upcoming.

9. In the Select field, click the required option. The available options are:

  • Single - Select this option if you want to book a single course for the selected student.

  • Multiple - Select this option if you want to book multiple courses for the selected student.

10. Based on your selection in the previous step, perform one of the following:

  • If you have selected the Single option, click the Select button for the course which you want to book.

  • If you have selected the Multiple option, check the boxes for the courses which you want to book.

You will be scrolled down to the Payment details section.

12. Click Booking Discounts.

The Apply Discount dialog will be displayed.

13. Enter the coupon code and click Add Coupon or enter a custom discount and click Apply.

14. Review the updated amount and click Apply Discounts.

The discount will be added and the payment details section will be displayed.

15. Click Book.

Outcomes:

  • The selected course will be booked.

  • A confirmation mail with course details will be sent to the registered email addresses of the delegates.

  • The specified discount will be applied to the booking.
