🧾 Using Sales Quotes to Drive Bookings
Sales Quotes in CourseCo offer a powerful way to generate sales without committing schedule capacity upfront. Designed to help you capture interest and follow up on leads, Sales Quotes create a flexible booking status that can convert to a confirmed enrolment once the customer is ready.
🚀 Why Use Sales Quotes?
Sales Quotes allow you to:
Offer pricing without pressure—ideal for B2B clients or bulk enquiries.
Enable a low-commitment pathway into booking.
Track potential revenue and follow up automatically.
Support your sales and marketing funnel with a clear, traceable status.
🛠️ How Sales Quotes Work in CourseCo
Admin-Controlled Setup
Sales Quotes can be enabled per schedule by an admin.
You choose which schedules offer Sales Quotes as an option at checkout.
Two Ways to Create a Sales Quote
Customer-Initiated: On eligible schedules, customers can select “Request a Quote” during checkout instead of paying.
Admin-Initiated: Admins can generate a Sales Quote manually from the back end for any client.
What Happens Next
A Sales Quote booking is created.
The booking:
Does not reserve capacity on the course.
Appears in the system with a special status (e.g., “Sales Quote”).
Can be reviewed, edited, or converted into a confirmed booking at any time.
Follow-Up Automation
We can configure automated email reminders to be sent to customers with unconverted Sales Quotes.
These reminders can be:
Time-based (e.g., 3 days after quote generated).
Personalized with quote details.
Branded and tracked.
Converting Sales Quote to Confirmed booking
Admin can add a PO (purchase order number) to the Sales Quote booking - this converts the booking to confirmed and triggers automated emails.
🧠 Good to Know
Sales Quotes are a great fit for corporate enquiries, group bookings, or price-sensitive leads.
Because they don't take up course capacity, you can encourage broader interest without risking overbooking.
Useful for forecasting potential revenue and keeping sales pipelines warm.
