Duplicate Schedule (with Linked Todos- exam/assessments)

We’ve developed an update that allows Admins to duplicate a Schedule — and automatically clone all related Todos linked to that Schedule.

This feature is especially useful for recurring or repeated course schedules that include online exams and assessments, as it saves time by recreating the same setup with one click.

🔁 What Happens When You Duplicate a Schedule

When an Admin duplicates a Schedule:

• The system will clone all linked Todos (of type Exam or Assessment) associated with the original Schedule.

• Each cloned Todo will:

  • Use the same Title, Summary, Examiner, and Linked Questionnaire as the original.

  • Have the word “Clone” added to the title for easy identification.

  • Not include any Start or Due Date — these must be added manually after duplication.

🧭 Next Steps for the Admin

After the new Schedule is created:

1. Go to Todos → All Todos.

2. Use the search or filter to find items containing the word “Clone”.

3. For each cloned Todo:

   • Open it.

   • Update the Title (remove “Clone” if desired).

   • Set new Start and Due Dates.

   • Click Save.

This ensures that the duplicated Todos are properly dated and ready for the new schedule.

This feature is optional and available as a configurable setting.
